A few miles away is Masada. The temperature is climbing! Masada is the last stronghold of the Jewish nation in 73 AD that held back the Roman Army. It is a fortress on a mountain plateau.

Today started with a trip to Qumran Caves, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We started early, it was close to 100 degrees at 9:30!
